UniWorld was built by international educators who have spent decades helping students cross borders — to study, to teach, and to grow. We founded UniWorld to give more students that same chance, the right way.
UniWorld was founded by Dr. Dai, who has worked in international and cultural exchange education since 2005. Dr. Dai's career began by helping students apply to universities abroad and building partnerships between schools in the U.S. and around the world, and grew to include successfully organizing multiple international cultural exchange summer and winter camps. Throughout, the goal never changed: connect students across borders and give them access to shared educational and cultural resources through meaningful exchange.
Over decades in international education, Dr. Dai worked directly with countless talented students who wanted a short-term opportunity to experience the United States, broaden their perspective, and bring what they learned back home to finish their studies — and with U.S. organizations and camps eager for the chance to connect with students from around the world. UniWorld was created to meet that need: to continue and expand cultural exchange opportunities, matching more students with programs that fit their skills and academic direction, all while operating within the framework of J-1 exchange visitor regulations.

We believe cultural exchange should be accessible, well-run, and honest — for the students who join our programs and the camps who host them.
Every program we run is designed around genuine cultural exchange and leadership development — not seasonal labor. That's the spirit of the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program, and it's ours too.
Our team's direct experience as PDSOs, DSOs, and AROs means every placement is handled within the framework of J-1 exchange visitor regulations, from application to DS-2019 to your return home.
You're not routed through a call center. Our team has personally worked in international student offices, taught ESL, and lived abroad — we know what you're going through because we've been there.

We are committed to helping participants understand each step of the process while encouraging meaningful cultural exchange, personal growth, and responsible participation throughout the program.
